We wanted the most efficient and effective possible HVAC system. However, our house is a complex case, with a large sunroom and no ducting. ECT designed a custom system with their double hybrid heat pump and geothermal well delivering heat and AC through radiant floors and new ducting. It has performed very well for 3 years. Cost for electricity has been less than we used to spend for pellets. Steady heat and warm bathroom floors are good things.

Energy Catalyst was great to work with. They worked with me with scheduling around my schedule and timeline for installation. I wanted to keep my furnace, which I just serviced and filled the oil tank. They were able to set it up as a temporary backup system, per my request. Matt and Jordan were very friendly and open to all of my questions and Ideas. They even helped me with requiring financial help. I would highly recommend them to install your Geothermal system.

Terrific company that installed a new heating/cooling system which revolutionised the way our house works and greatly reduced the amount we spend on making it comfortable.

I chose ECT for my geothermal heat pump installation because they offer a system that is more versatile and has higher efficiency. It was perfect for my house because the house was built with hot water baseboards and had AC added later, so I already had both pipes and ducts. The ECT system uses both hot water and hot air, to boost efficiency. Another plus: Matt is deeply committed to solving the world's climate and energy problems and he was great to work with! Highly recommended!

Switching to geothermal heat is a long term investment but it immediately gives peace of mind as you listen to the hum of the heat pump and know you will have no more oil deliveries. I appreciate the hybrid features of this system: still utilizing the existing hot water baseboard system with the added air duct delivery system. The steps to completion are time consuming but so worth it.

We have one of the first Energy Catalyst ground source ("geothermal") heat pumps at our house. We enjoyed getting to know Matt quite well while he developed the system.

The combination of air and hot water radiators is a good fit for our 1908 house. It is a high efficiency system that allowed us to fully electrify our house. We are happy to start our second heating season with our geothermal system!

Energy Catalyst spent 2 hours with me, thoroughly examining allour options and educating us. They are the 3rd energy company I have had come out and they were by far the most professional, most informative and most helpful. What's more, Matt knew of funding no one else had mentioned that may save us 50% of the project cost. Plus they have a heat pump that can be retrofitted into old houses without having to put new ductwork everywhere. From what I have seen so far, I highly recommend them. PS I got my quote *hours* after the walk through . . . . Days later, I am still waiting for estimates from the other companies!

I did a lot of research before deciding to go geothermal thermal using a electric heat pump.
I was quite naive at the beginning of the process. I found a lot of the larger companies had beautiful
websites but did not have the time to sit down and talk to me about how everything actually works.

Matt Took the time to Explain exactly how his unit works he was on site during installation and followed up with every question and detail that I asked.
I have run through two full cycles winter/summer, and am thrilled with the performance, the customer care and ingenuity of my Energy Catalyst Geothermal Heat Pump!
